ALBITAR

PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY

Nadeen AlBitar is a PhD candidate at Plymouth University and an architect with a MA Design degree. Her research aims to explore the under-layers of the conurbation of Amman’s urban context and the urban refugees with the diversity and strength of the economies, societies and cultures that characterise urban areas. It asks, how has Amman’s urban context changed spatially and socially with the influx of refugees and how has the mix of culture affected the economic and social urban adaptation?
